ABOUT THE ACADEMY
The North East Moi Fa Martial Arts Academy was set up in 1995 by Paul Tennet and David Graham to promote Chinese Martial Arts (Kung Fu/Wushu). In 2003 David Graham set up the South Yorkshire Moi Fa Chinese Boxing Academy & The Little Dragons Kung Fu Academy.
Traditionally Kung Fu was an activity that was taught to family and spouse, all family members would practice together and enjoy the benefits. We try to follow these traditions by promoting a family atmosphere and an open attitude. We believe training should not be only of a high standard but also pleasurable & fun.
Our aim is to develop the individual to there full potential and pride ourselves on high quality training and instruction.
The Academy is affiliated to the International Tai chi Chuan & Shaolin Wushu Association (ITSWA) that is headed by Sifu Derek Frearson. This association has been at the forefront of Chinese martial arts in the UK for more than 25 years, the ITSWA is the international association with connections in many countries including China, South Africa & Europe. All instructors are insured and registered with the BCCMA (British Council for Chinese Martial Arts) which is the governing body recognized by the sports council. |
INSTRUCTORS PROFILE
David Graham has trained in the Martial Arts since 1984 and has devoted himself to the 7 Star Praying Mantis Style for the past ten years & the Little Dragons kung Fu Academy. He has a varied experience in many Martial Arts styles i.e. Wing Chun, Choy Li Fut, Tai Chi, Karate,Kendo & Capoeira. |
